Yesterday, when the sensational news of the absence of the mentioned stages by the Norwegian squadron arrived, to avoid risks related to the current pandemic, the head of Swedish cross-country skiing Daniel Fåhraeus declared that he agreed with the Norwegian decision. Today the manager of the national team Anders Byström confirmed the doubts about the current safety in Sweden: "After this first stop in Ruka we have seen how the protocols work, and I must admit that fortunately we have not had any problems. , which would affect the condition of the athletes throughout the season, so we have decided that we will not participate in the Davos and Dresden stages, since the main objective of the season is the World Championships in Oberstdorf ".
