Good news for the world of cross-country skiing: a location has been found to recover one of the two Norwegian stages canceled due to the restrictions in force in the Scandinavian country.
In fact, the Engadine will host the stage that originally should have taken place in Oslo Holmenkollen, from 13 to 14 March. The times of the four races, the mass starts in classic and the pursuits (30 km for women and 50 km for men) in skating have not yet been communicated. The men's competitions will start in the town of Maloja, while the women's ones in St. Moritz, ending both in S-chanf.
The FIS thanked, on its official channels, the Swiss federation and all the other local bodies that will cooperate in organizing the stage. At the moment, therefore, only the World Cup finals are "vacant", waiting for a location that can host the final act of this World Cup season.
