The second seasonal gathering of the Italian cross-country skiers is allowing Pellegrino and his companions to ski even in the middle of June, thanks to the abundant snowfalls that surround the Valdostane localities of Gressoney St. Jean and Gressoney La Trinité, where the national team found itself for a week of work which will end on Sunday 9 June.
A ring has in fact been prepared near the Gabiet refuge, where Greta Laurent, Lucia Scardoni, Caterina Ganz, Elisa Brocard, Anna Comarella, Federico Pellegrino, Francesco De Fabiani, Giandomenico Salvadori, Maicol Rastelli and Stefan Zelger are being trained , assisted by technicians Paolo Riva, Stefano Saracco, Simone Paredi, Marco Brocard and Francois Ronc Cella.
Many young people are also present, namely Lorenzo Romano, Stefano Dellagiacoma, Simone Daprà , Luca Del Fabbro, Davide Graz, Paolo Ventura, Martin Coradazzi, Cristina Pittin, Martina Bellini Rebecca Bergagnin and Francesca Franchi, with the technicians Pietro Piller Cottrer, Renato Pasini, Luciano Cardini, Claudio Saba and Stefano Zampieri.
"We have to thank the employees who open the ski lifts specifically for us in the morning and allow us to go down to the village at the end of the skiing - explains technical director Marco Selle - and also the residence Ruetoreif which hosts the team and allows our team to use the kitchen".
