The FIS, in consultation with the federations of Germany, Switzerland and Italy, has officially announced that the ninth edition of the Tour de Ski will be held & agrave; & nbsp; regularly; not excluding, however, some changes in the original program.

L & rsquo; unusual heat that is coming down on the Alpine regions, in fact, also hit Oberstdorf, resort & agrave; designated to host the first two stages. However in Bavaria forecasts are encouraging, so that temperatures should drop and make possible the & rsquo; snowmaking a ring suitable to host the prologue and the first tracking respectively Saturday 3 and Sunday, January 4th.
If Oberstdorf did not do, the first two stages could be moved in Val Monastero, resort & agrave; Canton of Grisons gi & agrave; designated to host January 6 the third, the 'single sprint of this year's Tour de Ski, which does not seem to have any type of problem snowmaking.
Some difficulties & agrave; Organizational & egrave; also present in Dobbiaco, site of the fourth and fifth stage scheduled for 7 and the 'January 8. A ring of 2.5 Km & egrave; gi & agrave; ready, and in the next few days there should be the possibility & agrave; to set up that provided 5 Km; the real problem would be the traditional curtain-Dobbiaco, 35 Km tracking representing the & rsquo; only stage in line of the Tour de Ski. By the time the snow is missing a large part of the route, but an alternative solution & egrave; gi & agrave; ready, with l & rsquo; tracking that would be played on & rsquo; ring 5 Km put in place for the 10 km classic technique of the previous day.
No problem in Val di Fiemme, where at worst the two stages classical technique with mass start of January 10 will be played on a ring of 2.5 km, and on & rsquo; Alpe Cermis, gi & agrave; enough snow and therefore ready to host as usual the grand finale of the Tour de Ski Sunday, January 11th.
