The victory of Østensen is quite surprising when you consider that there were all the best Norwegian cross-country skiers. The twenty-nine of Baerum just 3.7 seconds ahead of the World Cup leader Martin Johnsrud Sunby, while the third will square Simen Andreas Sveen, which confirms the progress already shown in the World Cup and free technique after the fifth place in the 30 km Davos.
