Surprise in the blue background: Lucia Scardoni abandons the competition, the announcement is from the FISI

There will be Lucia Scardoni at the start of the next staigone. The Venetian made her World Cup debut in the 2011/12 season, in the classic technique 15 km of Nove Mesto, and her best stage result in ten years of international career was a fifth place in the sprint in classic technique of Val di Fiemme in 2020. It was classified in thirtieth place in the general classification of the CdM 2020/21 and, in addition, it also boasts three absolute individual Italian titles.
