Max Hauke and Dominik Baldauf have been suspended for 4 years, with retroactivity applied from 1 March 2019 and termination of the disqualification set for 28 February 2023.
The two Austrian cross-country skiers have confessed the doping practices regarding the operation Aderlass for which people are involved. Five months after the scandal exploded during the Nordic skiing competition in Austria, Hauke and Baldauf later confided that they wanted to open a new chapter outside the sports world, after being accused and now convicted of reinfusions of blood and other doping practices explored in recent years (in the case of Hauke, use of growth hormones from 2017 to 2019).
At the same time, all the results obtained by Hauke and Baldauf starting from 1 April 2016 were also canceled, as well as the prizes withdrawn.
