The sprint free technique, the first races of the world junior cross-country skiing in Val di Fiemme, they see the success of Jean Tiberghien between men and Jonna Sundling among women.

The men's race saw the success of one of the favorites, Frenchman Jean Tiberghien. Class 1995 Tiberghien has the second fastest time in qualifying, and then pass with no problem and battery semifinals. In the final, had the better photo finish on the Swedish Oskar Svensson, who takes home the silver medal, and the Finnish Joni Maki, who won the bronze. Nothing to be done for the other three boys landed in the final, the Finnish Lauri Vuorinen, Russian Evgeniy Vakhrushev and Japanese Kentaro Ishikawa, respectively at the end of the fourth, fifth and sixth. The only blue qualifier, Simone Romans, unable to overcome the drums, however, the same as when it was added to the eventual winner Tiberghien.

Even the women's victory went to what was probably the number one favorite, Jonna Sundling. Swedish class of 1994, former'' gold medal in the relay last year, Sundling deservedly won the title, recording the fastest time in qualifying, winning comfortably and tearing drum and semi-final opponents in the final. Silver Medal at the Norwegian Fight Udnes Weng, who has the best photo finish on the Russian Yulia Belorukova. Round up the other finalist Russian Natalia Nepryaeva fourth, fifth and Switzerland Nadine Fähndrich Swedish Anna Dyvik sixth. Alice is the best Italian Canclini, reaching the semi-final where ousted after a sprint, however, is fought; battery out instead Erica Antoniol.
