First races of the Italian championships, with Under 23 successes for Davide Graz and Martina Di Centa.

Giandomenico Salvadori won the Italian title in the 15 km free technique that opened the tricolor cross-country skiing event on the snows of Dobbiaco.
The 29-year-old from Trentino from Mezzano, belonging to the Fiamme Gialle Sports Group, first beat the competition of Federico Pellegrino (Fiamme Oro Sports Group), second at 5 ”9. Third place on the podium is the prerogative of Simone Daprà (G.S. Fiamme Oro) with 13 "5 behind, fourth place for Stefano Gardener (C.S. Carabinieri) at 16" 7.
