It was opened this morning in Turin, the march of the blue short track to the Olympics in Sochi. At Palatazzoli, the National Italian unveiled the first of the two stages of the World Cup as a valid qualification for the next Olympic Winter Games.

The five blue will be played as the quarter-finals, and a valid placement for the 2014 Sochi on Saturday 9 November.
