In the second stage of the World Cup, the Women's Relay also returns to the podium like last week in Montreal.

On the final day of the Salt Lake City stage of the Short Track World Cup comes third place, like the previous week in Canada, for Pietro Sighel who is preceded only by the Dutch Jens Van''t Wout and the Kazakh Denis Nikisha . The young skater from Trentino on the wings of the excellent moment of form and taking advantage of the altitude of the Utah Olympic Oval in the semifinals takes the luxury of being the first Italian to go down the distance under 40 seconds, setting the national record at 39.973.
The girls of the women's relay also confirmed themselves on the podium, third as in Montreal, behind South Korea and Canada. Arianna Valcepina, Arianna Sighel, Gloria Ioriatti and Elisa Confortola (and in the quarter-finals Nicole Botter Gomez) qualify with the thrill for the final where they manage the third place and precede the Netherlands who had imposed themselves in Montreal.
