The second leg of the Short Track World Cup took place at the Salt Lake City weekend. Next stage from 7 to 9 December in Almaty.

In the men's relay the Hungarians Csaba Burjan, Shaoang Liu, Shaolin Sandor Liu and Alex Varnyu double the victory of Calgary; second place for China and third place for Russia, with Mattia Antonioli, Andrea Cassinelli, Yuri Confortola and Tommaso Dotti who hit the final closing in fourth place. In the women's 500 meters, after the victory of Calgary, the Polish Natalia Maliszewska precedes on the woolen thread the Dutch Suzanne Schulting and the Chinese Fan Kexin, five times world champion on the distance. Martina Valcepina, growing, reaches the final and closes in fourth position
