Sar & agrave; the track of Altenberg in Saxony to host the third round of the Skeleton World Cup. The German track again host an event of the maximum circuit run by the FIBT to two years after its last edition.

THE TRACK
Begun in 1981 by the will & agrave; the Security Minister Erich Mielke who wanted to give force to the movement of the sport of gut dell''allora East Germany, the DKB-Eiskanal Rennschlitten und Bobbahn Altenberg & egrave; was officially opened in 1983. FEMALE SKELETON IN THE BACKGROUND
Two seasons ago, it was Germany's Marion Trott-Thees to impose itself on the track of Saxony. Behind it they placed the American Katie Uhlaender and Noelle Pikus-Pace. Curiously, none of the three athletes that went up on the podium nell''ultima edition of the World Cup to have held Altenberg, sar & agrave; again at the start next weekend.
