Yesterday at Igls Championships were played Austrians skeleton. On the outskirts of Innsbruck famous gut were held competitions of the category Youth, Junior and Senior.

Quest'' year, the Austrian Association has decided to organize a national event two months'' s earlier than usual, to allow their athletes to take advantage of the long Christmas break to test materials with a view'' s forthcoming second part of this important Olympic season.
In the women's senior success has gone to number one favorite Janine Flock. The young Austrian, born in 1989, who this season finished in second place in Lake Placid taking the best result of his career, has signed the best references lap times in both heats pulling almost a second Carina Mair.
Flock (pictured) European bronze in charge and third at the World Junior 2010 with this win door on eight national titles won in his career. In the test the'' junior national laurel has been awarded to Kathrin Bader.
In the men's Matthias Guggenberger was reconfirmed national champion for the second consecutive year. The Tyrolean preceded by 89 cents and 97 cents Raphael Maier Alexander Auer second after the first run. At the start of the race was also attended by two Italians. Andrea Famengo finished in ninth place while Paul Farina ranked in the twelfth position.
Guggenberger with this victory,'' adds another laurel to the four national who already had on his CV.
Lastly, a little curiosity: is the women's podium that the senior male is the same as the previous edition.
