Thursday on Igrave; Winterberg andr & agrave; staged the 24th edition of the World Championships of skeleton. The event rainbow sar & agrave; as usual, the 'appointment pi & ugrave; important dell''intera season, and will represent & agrave; for many athletes a wonderful opportunity to redeem un''annata below expectations.

THE TRACK
The route of the Hochsauerland, & egrave; was completed in 1977 and over the years has undergone several changes, especially regarding the departures. Gut German fact, & egrave; one of the few in the world to have three different start point for the three disciplines of the sled.
Among the features of this system stand out: the first three curves called Omega, the curve 7 or better a kreisel of 270 degrees which is named the brand of local beer Veltins, and finally the maze located on the final part of the path, that & egrave ; formed by the curves 11,12 and 13.
Winterberg & nbsp; although part of the circuit for several years World Cup & nbsp; has never previously hosted exhibitions iridescent skeleton.
