Next Saturday and Sunday in Sigulda in Latvia andr & agrave; staged the 45th edition of the World Championships in luge track artificial. The event rainbow & nbsp; will & agrave; as usual, the 'appointment pi & ugrave; important dell''intera season, and will represent & agrave; for many athletes a wonderful opportunity to redeem un''annata below expectations.

THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD The World Championships are one of the sledding sports events & nbsp; & pi ugrave; dell''intero ancient landscape of winter sports. The first edition is iridescent & egrave; disputed fact in 1955 in Oslo, Norway, and from that date onwards were organized 44 other editions. Traditionally the 'world championship event is held annually except in Olympic years & nbsp; when they are awarded medals. However for a short period (1981-1989) & nbsp; the frequency of the event became biennial, but later the International Federation riport & ograve; back championships annually. Since the first edition have been awarded the world titles in the specialty & agrave; of: men's single, women's single and double, and only since 1989 & egrave; introduced the team competition. Throughout history tracks 24 & nbsp; have been the scene of at least one event champion, among them the pi & ugrave; employed in absolute & egrave; to Koenigssee in Bavaria, which hosted the beauty of five World Championships. The & nbsp; & Nbsp; THE TRACK Sigulda for the second time in history will host & agrave; the 'event champion
