This will ensure the possibility that this splendid track will not be abandoned after the Olympic program, as has already happened in the past for other reviews. In fact, Beijing's goal is to be able to continue using all the facilities used during the recent Olympic Games. "Over the past six years we have worked closely with various stakeholders to prepare for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, but also for use after them," IBSF President Ivo Ferriani said.
In addition, the agreement was also signed by representatives of the Yanqing District, the gut manufacturer and the Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau. Currently the Bobsleigh and Luge World Cup features races in Austria, Latvia, Switzerland and Germany, with the North American stages paused due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
