The host Italy got off to a very strong start in the European sledding championships on a natural track hosted over the weekend in Lasa.
On the South Tyrolean track, who but Queen Evelin Lanthaler to conquer another continental title, after having already dominated the first rounds of the World Cup this season. The blue champion is gold in the women's single, ahead of teammate Greta Pinggera, 1 ”14 behind, with the Austrian Tina Unterberger, who reached 1” 30, bronze medal.

In the men's doubles, the Russians Porshnev / Lazarev became European champions with a time of 2''13 ”15, mocking the blues Patrick Pigneter and Florian Clara for only 8 cents. Third place for the two Austrians Achenrainer / Achenrainer, at the foot of the podium the other blue duo made up of Patrick Lambacher and Matthias Lambacher.
Sunday the second and last day of the continental review, with the men's single and the team relay with Italy's very favorite.
