With a brief statement posted on its Facebook page, the Austrian luge Mona Wabnigg announced its fans the decision to retire from racing.

"Today officially ends my career as an athlete of the national team of luge - the first words of the Tyrolean listed on the popular social network - with tomorrow begins for me a new path in which I will dedicate & ograve, with great enthusiasm for the Bachelor of Science motor. The 'experience in the world of luge & egrave; was a time in my life unforgettable not scorder & ograve; never. I take the' opportunity to thank all those people who have incited through the good times that of difficulty & agrave, pushing me to go always ahead. "
The twenty-two original Innsbruck & nbsp; & Igrave puts so; an end to a career short and stingy with great satisfaction.
