A 2021/22 season with a calendar that returns to include various parts of the globe, after the past year saw all the races in the old continent, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. After the Christmas break, New Year's Day will be resumed with the Koenigssee stage and from here without stopping Sigulda, Latvia, the last Teutonic stage of the season in Oberhof will follow until reaching the conclusion on the natural route of Sankt Moritz with the Swiss basin confirming its presence on the calendar after returning there last season after 9 years of absence.
On the other hand, the German circuit of Winterberg will be absent from all the main events (CDM, World Championships, Olympics, Europeans) of the highest international circuit, and this has not happened since the 2000/2001 season.
