Tatjana Huefner: "I love every meter of the Sochi's track"

After last season punctuated by back pain,'' that he even held out for three weeks from competition, Tatjana Huefner is ready to return to play a leading role in the women's luge. The Bavarian confided in an interview with'' the microphones of the German Federation (which I fully proproniamo) of particularly love the track on which you will play the next Winter Olympics.

Q: How did you feel to get on the ice after the long summer break? A: "Last week in Lillehammer I started to fall for the first time this season on a frozen gut.'' It was fun for me to return to travel with the team to reach the places of the race. The feeling I had on the ice are quite good. Usually I need some time'' before finding the right feeling with the track, but to be honest this time I was able to see me almost immediately at ease on the ice. " Q: How did you prepare during the summer''? We know that in addition to the training you put in a lot of study. How did you manage to combine both activities? A: "Quest'' summer, I decreased workloads, but not because of the study.'' It was a planned strategy to relax more than in the past that gave me the opportunity to focus on the best Olympic season. Quest '' year we have preserved the load on the back which is the part of the body that has brought me a lot of problems last season. Hopefully these changes will enable me to return to collect great satisfaction in the coming winter. " Q: Having won a title in the past world champion, you have been selected by the federation of law for the first race of the season and especially for the tests on the Olympic track in Sochi. This allows you to be better prepared for the next season?  A: "I think this is a great benefit for the preparation. Sfrutterò this bonus to train the best without too much anxiety from selection to a great start to the season. The week of testing in Sochi will allow me to choose the materials most appropriate to address the Olympic race. " Q: What are the key points of the Olympic track in Sochi? A: "There are some places to keep an eye''. Few points reminiscent of many other tracks. There are three uphill sections as in Nagano, the track is quite a bit faster'' such as Whistler and then there are pieces that recall the gut Cesana. Obviously the track also has the original parts that make the whole fun even though it is not easy to find the right rhythm. " Q: Last year you won the pre-Olympic Sochi. '' What is so special for you this track? A: "I love the ski techniques that require great concentration. This gut I liked it right away and I must say that the more we go down the more I love every single meter that composes it." Q: Could you give the names of your main opponents who will challenge you in the fight for Olympic medal? A: "The Olympic Games are a special event to start the dispute 4 heats. Personally I prefer to think of myself, partly because the performance of others does not affect me at all. My goal will be to give up on that occasion . " Q: Have you decided what to do after the Olympics? A: "At this moment I can not give a definite answer. Sochi will decide later what the future holds for me."
