The grand finale of the Speed Ski World Cup: the Verbanese wins the seventh consecutive race and is one step away from the crystal ball, while Ivan beats his brother Simone (third), still in the running for the general classification.

Another masterpiece, for the seventh victory of the season in as many races disputed between the World Cup and the World Ski Speed, for a Valentina Greggio now one step away from the fifth crystal ball of her career, after those won consecutively from 2015 to 2018.
On the Andorran track of Grandvalira, the thirty-one year old from Ossola maintained her unbeaten run by winning her career success number 39 in the first of three scheduled events, setting a speed of 154.96 km / h enough to get behind the Swedish Britta Backlund, stops at 154.60 km / h, while the French Clea Martinez completed the podium with 152.28 km / h. Greggio thus rises to 600 points in the general classification ahead of Backlund with 450, while the French Clea Martinez is third with 365 points; with a 4th place in race-2 on Friday (on Saturday there will be the last appointment) it would be arithmetic cup.
The men's race recorded the return to victory of Ivan Origone. The Aosta Valley, fasting from success for over five years, surprisingly imposed himself (reaching the seal number 25 in the maximum circuit) with 157.22 km / h, ahead of the French Simon Billy with 156.51 km / h and his brother Simone Origone, on podium number 105 with third place set at 156.48 km / h. Billy leaps to the top of the CdM general with 460 points, ahead of compatriot Bastien Montes (436), while Simone Origone is third with 432 points and in full swing for yet another feat.
