Speed skiing: six Azzurri for the last stage of the World Cup, Greggio and Origone want the general

Grandvalira will host, from March 31 to April 2, the classic grand finale with the three decisive races scheduled on the Andorran snows.

We are moving towards the assignment of the Speed Ski World Cup, which will stop on the Andorran slope of Grandvalira from Thursday 31 March to Saturday 2 April, where the three final races will be held for the grand finale of the season, which follow to those played in Vars and Idre. The first of the three challenges in the Principality will be the recovery of the one canceled in Vars. For Italy there will be six athletes with Simone Origone, Ivan Origone, Jean Daniel Pession, Emilio Giacomelli, Samuele Capello and Valentina Greggio. The Aosta Valley Simone Origone has scored two wins and is third in the standings with 372 points, behind the French Bastien Montes and Simon Billy, at the top with 400 and 380 points respectively. The Piedmontese Valentina Greggio is instead unbeaten this season with 5 wins and 500 points, ahead of the Swedish Britta Backlund with 370 and the French Clea Martinez with 305.
