The Aosta Valley remains undefeated in the Speed Ski World Cup, while the Verbanese takes two second places in a matter of hours.

There is a lot of Italy also in the second day of competitions in Idre, for the speed ski World Cup landed in Sweden.
After the triumph of 24 hours before, Simone Origone repeats himself by signing the fifth victory in as many seasonal races: the 39-year-old champion from Valle d'Aosta is simply extraordinary, who today reaches 174.30 km / h and clearly wins over French Billy, again on the podium with 172 , 84 km / h, and on the Austrian Kramer which stopped at 171.72 km / h. Fourth place, just a stone's throw from the podium, for Ivan Origone.
In the women's field there was instead a double race (with a recovery after yesterday's cancellation) and Valentina Greggio was able to place on both occasions in second place. To win is the usual Britta Backlund, who on the snow at home has had the better of the Verbanese. The Swedish also commands the Cup general with 500 points (she is still unbeaten as Simone Origone), while the blue is now second at 345.
On Saturday the last appointment of the Scandinavian triptych, then we will go to Formigal on March 15 before the Grand Valira finals.
