Simply dominant. Simone Origone breaks down another wall, record after record, taking the pearl number 46 in his career with the success encore, within 24 hours, on the Salla track.
On the Finnish snows, the Aosta Valley therefore places the third hit in as many races of this World Cup of speed skiing, in what was worth as a recovery test after the cancellation of Vars. With 162.74 km / h, the blue champion preceded the Frenchman Simon Billy, second with 161.79 km / h, and the Austrian Kramer on the podium with 160.96 km / h.
Discreet 6th place for Ivan Origone, with Emilio Giacomelli who finished in 11th place. In the general classification, Simone Origone precedes by 60 points Billy, who does not give up a shot and will try to put the Aosta Valley champion in difficulty in the next stage of Idre, Sweden, scheduled for 6-7 March.
