A super Valentina Greggio signs the poker in Idre, remaining unbeaten on the four seasonal tests of the World Cup of speed skiing, this time triumphing with the minimum difference in today's encore of the Swedish appointment.
The Italian champion has in fact imposed herself with 0.01 km / h ahead of the hostess Britta Backliund (172.44 km / h against 172.43 km / h), thus putting further hay in the farmhouse in the general classification thanks to the triumph number 37 of her career , which allows Valentina to climb to 400 points in front of the same Backlund with 290, while the French Clea Martinez (also third at the finish) occupies the last position of the partial podium with 260 points.
Things went much worse in the men's field, where Simone Origone was unable to do better than eighth position. The Aosta Valley champion, third in race-1, seems to be well underway in the semifinal round, but in the decisive run he got up a few meters from the cell that records the speed, conditioned by a gust of wind and ending up far from the positions that matter.
To concede the encore was the French Simon Billy with 179.79 km / h, ahead of compatriot Bastien Montes, in third place was the Czech Radim Palan. With this new success, Billy leaps to the top of the overall with 320 points, Origone drops to second place with 292 and Montes is third with 280 points, when there are four races to go. The third and final race is scheduled for Saturday 12 March in Idre, starting at 11.00.
