Some ski resorts have kept the lifts open despite the prohibitions imposed by the Federal Council. Managers reported.

The managers of some Bernese ski resorts have been denounced by some private individuals for failing to comply with the Federal Council ordinance of 13 March in the fight against the spread of coronavirus.
This is the case of the lifts in Gstaad, Adelboden-Lenk and the Jungfrau region (Grindelwald, Wengen, Mürren, Lauterbrunnen and Haslital) which on March 14 had remained open as if nothing had happened. The same situation also occurred in other parts of Switzerland, for example in Grisons. Federal Councilor Alain Berset, however, called them back to order the same day.
The prosecutor's office has received two criminal complaints and the Bernese judiciary is now investigating whether there has been a violation of the Covid-19 emergency ordinance announced by the Confederation on March 13.
On 14 March The Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) asked the ski resorts that were still open to close immediately.
What made the matter even more blurred were the words of the President of the Bernese Council of State, Christoph Ammann (PS), director of the Department of Economics, Energy and Environment, according to which on the ski slopes It was possible to achieve the conditions of the so-called social distance.
