The best all-round skis for next season

There are four men's skis and a women's model the best proposals for the next season for the average skier, the one who wants to ski all day on the track, without worries. Let's see together the best models chosen by the Neveitalia Tester

The Head Magnum is the emblem of the category, appreciated in practically all fields, on all snows and in the different bows, so as to be the best proposal in the sector for the year 2019/20, with the Gold Winner recognition among the skis "Chosen by the Tester". It is sensational how this ski always manages to remain the same, evolving in small points and improving more and more, pushing itself where few tourist skis manage to get. The Head technicians can, after every update, present a ski that is always "easy, super intuitive, not too tiring, beautiful for tight turns" to say it in the words of Laura Jardi. Going down in the most technical aspect, skiing is suitable for driving safely in medium and wide arc, at medium-high speeds, resulting also very stable in the curve entry: it is really one of the few multi-purpose models on the market. The statistical results in the tight, medium and wide curves are practically identical, excelling like no other in the corners medium, sign of the tourist nature of skiing. In this case we can say that there are virtually no defects, it is able to cover a range of skiers ranging from advanced level 4 to level 6/7. The intermediate proposal of the Spitfire range, the Nordica Dobermann Spitfire PRO FDT is instead rewarded for its excellent management, which makes it the "Choice of Testers" award for the 2019/20 season and practically perfect yield in medium-range curves. It is a model dedicated to skiers of level 5 and fully centers the profile, presenting itself almost as an ideal ski for the category, being very easy at the same time intuitive and is really fun, so much so that it does not even seem to have it at the feet. management and ease of edge grip are the main aspects that the end user of this ski research and that in the Spitfire Pro FDT are among the best in the category. What impresses the Spitfire PRO is the possibility to ski perfectly in conduction without smudging and almost never stopping, alternating the rhythm or skiing constant with the same arc of curve. The Völkl Racetiger SC is one of the new models in the Völkl range for the 2019/20 season is offered to a wide audience of skiers. Immediately rises on the podium of the skis "Chosen by the testers" for the excellent yield in medium and narrow curves. It has a similar structure to the racecarver but with greater comfort, it makes the short bow easy even at a level 4 because it is intuitive and easy to handle. It is a high-performance ski in the tight thanks to the excellent edge grip: the ski enters well in curve and remains under the foot, even if at high speeds it begins to suffer the wide radius. The last ski that our Test Team has rewarded is the Atomic Redster X7 WB, awarded for excellent handling in the category, also receiving the "Selected by Testers" award for the year 2019 / 20.E '' a ski with which you can do almost everything, is progressive, light and manageable, requires little effort and is very simple in setting in medium and narrow curves. We therefore recommend it to those looking for a tool to progress quickly and skiing on different slopes, without exceeding too much in speed. For women the ski chosen by our testers is the K2 Anthem 72 Ti, which is aimed at a medium-high level female audience, that is level 5 skiers and even slightly higher. Skiing, tested by our girls in the "long" size "167cm and not in the shorter one, it has really many strengths, it is in fact very simple in its setting but stable, manageable and adapts to all types of curve. The stability and grip of the structure are practically similar to those of the equivalent all-rounders of the same unisex level, there is therefore no structural or sealing deficit for this model, on the contrary it is excellent in managing medium-wide curves and obtains really high marks in all parts of the board.
