The models Vlkl for the 2013-14 season

Völkl for the 2013-2014 season confirms its warhorses, proposing a range centered on two models SL and GS without frills and derived from the racing world, and a range allround varied among which the Speedwall The object of our test. A part is the infinite range freeride, always appreciated by fans of fresh, we tried the Mantra.

The proposed range for 2014 is very solid and reasoned, consistent with all proposals. The Speedwall GS, much appreciated last year in the 2013 version, although not changed much on the ground of the test has encountered some difficulties. On the hard ground makes it the best, however the turn-in on the soft snow is not as easy as the modern skis have accustomed us, you are likely in fact to sink if you do not remain very light. Having said this remains a ski extremely competitive in the market in which it is inserted, embracing the philosophy of a tool proves to be accurate, but affordable to most types of skiers. Finally, the Völkl Speedwall L is the innovative proposal for this season, the structure is derived from the top models, but differs in a wider sidecut and the presence of rocker in the tip and tail. This has affected everyone, fans of the rocker, subjects less convinced of this philosophy and even our testatrici: skiing in all conditions is ready and stable, perhaps in sinning excessive rigidity of the structure in some situations where you require more simplicity.
