NeveItalia Buyer''s Guide 2021/22: The best boots on the market at the feet of NeveItalia testers

The most loyal readers of our Buyer's Guide have been asking for it for some time and this year we couldn't hold back. In the Buyer's Guide, which as usual is completely online and completely free, there are 134 pairs of boots reviewed, 33 of which have been tested.

Speaking of "boot test" does not put too much at ease, perhaps we would prefer to speak of "first impression". The test, also due to the covid, was mainly carried out dry and, although it is the second year that we are making an effort in this direction, we still do not really trust our result. For this reason, the "BETA TEST" icon is clearly visible in all the videos of the guide. As Wikipedia says, speaking of software, the term "beta version" is used when the program or application contains most of the main features, but is not yet complete. The test was carried out between Livigno, Cervinia and at the headquarters of Oliver Ski & Sportswear, in Saronno, which made available the experience and the incredible knowledge of all the technical and commercial aspects connected to the purchase of a ski boot. With a modest but highly selected team of testers we tested a selection of the main models presented by the houses: Atomic, Dalbello, Fischer, Head, Lange, Nordica, Rossignol, Salomon, Tecnica and K2. As for the ski department, the tests were carried out using test cards, the hot comments of the testers and the photos of Enrico “Bigno” Pozzi and the Neveitalia Staff (Claudio Losa, Pier Ducoli and Angelo Bonorino). The Test Team - this year in reduced formation - was made up of professionals in the sector and led by two national instructors: Stefano Belingheri and Giordano Magri, flanked by coaches or teachers Alex Favaro, Isabel Anghilante, Gianluca Branciaroli, Alberto Magri and Davide Mazzarrisi.
