The workhorse at Blizzard is definitely the Blizzard Firebird WRC, tested in both 180cm (men) and 175cm (women). The ski confirms the structure very solid and stable, with a perfect sidecut: it is intuitive in all situations but also versatile when you have to change the radius of the curve. The new structure is derived from the World Cup with two bi-directional layers of carbon fiber along the entire ski, placed between the central layers in contact with the wood core.
Skiing is always manageable, does not require particular efforts and gives the best of itself in medium curves at high speed, where it never shows sagging. It is a great product for high-level free field, suitable for those seeking performance but want to use skiing every day without feeling too "caged" in the wide curves of the giant.
As a proposal racecarver slalom we find the new Blizzard Firebird SRC. It is on this model that the new structure is more appreciated, the ski looks like a product out of the racing department: it is always ready and agile, with a flawless behavior at the end of the curve. It is a "racing bull" for some testers and not denotes sagging neither on the frozen or on the ground now broken. The real strength of the ski is the fluidity of the action: there are no dead moments in the curve nor even aggressive points in entry or exit curve.
The Quattro line is confirmed, with the proposal of the Blizzard Quattro RS in the field of allround tourism. The ski is handy and is aimed at a target of skiers who are looking for a tool to use all day, on all terrains: that does not give insecurity and that does not show too many sagging. It's a snow coach, with the system Full system Suspension IQ and the new C-Spine technology skiing is often fluid, even though, when many testers find out, the proposal is very heavy and rigid and suitable for those who want to improve their technique and towards a more race setting.
In the freeski field Blizzard re-proposes the Rustler range, with the Blizzard Rustler 11 exclusively dedicated to off-piste skiing and the Blizzard Rustler 9 with a less generous center, for some exits even on beaten terrain. The Blizzard Rustler 11 is a precise ski in the curve phase, responsive and beautiful for both skiing and jumping, thanks to the rigid tail that supports well in the landing stage. The structure gives the tool an innate precision, inviting the skier to accelerate in every curve exit. It is suitable for all curve arches, even the narrowest ones, and guarantees optimal floatation.
The Blizzard Rustler 9 is instead one of the best all-mountain ski of next season: it is a structured and performing ski that proves ideal for excellent skiers, for its stability and precision. Like the big brother it is a ski that invites you to run and that tends to straighten at the end of the curve, to facilitate the next entrance. The curves are always easy in all conditions and the excellent impulse of the structure (present in fresh snow on the track) makes the ski always dynamic, manageable fun, easy to off-piste and stable on the track. For these reasons, skiing is awarded as one of the best proposals in the all-mountain field, earning with full recognition the "Choice of Tester"
