Ski-Test 2018/19: Elan awarded with Amphibio and GSX

The Slovenian house for next year confirms a large part of the range, articulated with the GSX Master in GS field, the Amphibio line for the track and the Ripstick range for freeski, with the novelty of the new allround Ski Elements.

The GS is the prerogative of the Hell GSX Master 2019: the Slovenian house hits the mark, offering a manageable ski, light but stable at the same time, to be used on several occasions, especially in the measure proposed to the test: 175cm with a radius of 19 meters. The GSX Master is awarded as a ski "Chosen by Tester" 2019 thanks to its formidable handling. All testers agree: the main feature of the new Elan GSX Master is the manageability, as well as lightness. This makes sure you have a ski at your feet that "puts the skier at ease from the first corners: it's easy in the change between a curve and the other, precise and stable in the curve", to say it with the words of Alex Favaro. In the slalom field the Elan SLX Fusion is reconfirmed: a ski suitable for everyone, light and easy to handle and with a natural curve management. Lightness always distinguishes it: just put on the feet but is stable while skiing. It is aimed more at those looking for fun and easy handling, with help in the closing phase. In the all-around field, the Slovenian house presents two models: the veteran Amphibio 16 Ti2 Fusion and the new Elemnts, dedicated to ski beginners. The Elan Amphibio 16 Ti2 Fusion is once again elected as the "chosen by the testers" in the allround field for the umpteenth season. Like the brother from SL it proves to be an easy and manageable ski, with a good performance without being too demanding. Great in the process of change thanks to the structure Amphibio, excellent in tight corners, elected the best in this field in its category.It 'a ski aimed at the general public, who seeks a medium radius and requires no special physical effort, seeking an answer always homogeneous, gradual and intuitive. The new Elan Elements launches the Groove Tecnology construction, which we had previewed at ISPO. This ski is intended for skiers in the evolutionary phase for a low to medium level. It is in fact the management of the curve at low speeds that is rewarded: it is a ski for every day, with uniform flexibility of the structure. The ski is fully compliant with what was declared by the house, turning to an audience, even women, in evolution. In the freeski field, as anticipated, is the Ripstick range to be the mistress.The pure freeride is entrusted to the Ripstick 106: a multi-purpose ski and very well structured, with a spatula and elastic tail.The tool is recommended in the days of powder snow deep with steep slopes, great for Big Mountain and good companion for Heliski days. As an all-newer Elan proposes the Elan Ripstick 96, unchanged from last year's model. The ski takes advantage of the testers: "the perfect ski" this is the hot comment for Lena Attorresi.Lo ski is well structured from tip to tail, which makes it very precise and stable, with an excellent floatation and above all beautiful even on the track thanks to the excellent edge grip.
