Ski-Test 2018/19: enthusiasts of the V lkl Racetiger

Völkl presents the new Racetiger for the 2018/19 season and excelles in our tests as one of the best slalom skis of next season. Let's see all the tests together!

The Völkl Racetiger GS Pro Uvo 3D is the proposal in the GS racecarver field, strong new 3D Glass construction and the new anti-vibration UVO.It is a balanced ski, excellent as a racecarver: it is never too complicated but always stable, reactive, not excessive and from the excellent edge grip. The ski excels for stability combined with almost no vibrations: the structure is rigid and always present, even if in the long run it can become tiring. The award-winning proposal at Völkl is the Racetiger SL UVO 3D, chosen as one of the best slalom skis for next season, winning the "Choice of Tester" award. The ski excels in maneuverability, which is why we have chosen to reward. Compared to the other two models it appeared very balanced, centered for the racecarver category. The handling makes it "light and stable at the same time" (Riccardo Giacomel), and "fast in entry curve" (Giovanni Manfrini) .As said it is the slalom carver ski with the highest score in the voice handling for the next season: the Ski seems light in setting curves, but remains always stable and precise to conduct. News also in the field of all-round performance with the Völkl Deacon 76 Pro that changes the positive aspects of the racecarver, adopting its solid structure with a more generous sidecut. Equipped with a good curved entrance and great maneuverability even on soft snows. It devours almost all the soils, always remaining stable: it prefers medium wide curves, where it is more at ease thanks to the solid structure. In the allmountain field we find the Völkl Kanjo which proved to be more suited to the beaten tracks than to the off-piste. It is in fact easy in all curve arcs: its strong point is the handling in all situations. It adapts less to the off-piste, having scarce buoyancy in conditions of deep fresh snow and the difficult handling during landing by jumps. However, the ski is still a good proposal for the days when you want to take advantage of it on the track, managing to adapt to almost any terrain.
