Ski Test 2019/20: two medals for Dynastar!

Today we want to present you the 2019/20 skis of the Dynastar range, which covers every aspect of skiing: from racecarver models, to all-around, to the most touristic skis to go from freeriding to all-mountain.

The king of the range is always the Dynastar Speed Master GS R22, whose distinctive features are now known to all: the comfort of skiing combines in an optimal way with the estate of the structure. The latter, although heavy, does not make itself felt thanks to the lightning-fast curve entry and the impulse in the change of direction. It is in fact the ski that has achieved the highest score in the impulse, making it the best in this situation, earning the ski badge "Scelto dai Tester" version 2019/20. Excellent results also in the slalom racecar field where the French company proposes the Dynastar Speed Master SL R22, with structure derived from the World Cup, without FIS-compliant geometries and lighter plate to make skiing easier for non-competitors. The Speed Master is rewarded by the our testers who appreciate, in particular, the comfort of management and the ability to extricate themselves even in wide curves. In general the product of the French company, although at the limit of the 6/7 level in which it was proposed, convinces on all fronts, earning itself the Gold Medal of the "Chosen by Testers" 2019/20 in the slalom category. for the stability conjugated with the simplicity of management, for the progression in the curve and for the stability at high speeds. The structure is always present, from the first curves we feel the reactivity and the "density" of the ski, but despite this it is always exploitable in the free field, thanks to the ability to bend the entire structure and follow the ground. In the all-round performance Dynastar proposes a simpler declination of the Master, the Speed MasterGS Konect Tested on a background that is not perfectly smooth and quite rough appeared to all the members of the Test Team simple and intuitive, light and fun even on transformed snow though but a lot stable at high speeds, probably due to the unevenness of the ground. It is in conduction, always being predictable, with harmonic curve management without excessive differences in stiffness between the spatula and tail. On a more compact and smooth snow, the structure is enhanced, offering extreme stability. in the whole curve at any speed, always remaining attached to the ground. For all-around skis dedicated to skiers in evolution, the Speed Zone range is instead present. We tested the Dynastar Speedzone 12, presented last year and confirmed for this season. The ski is confirmed indicated for a skier of level 5, offers everything that an advanced tourist requires: very light, on soft snow it is fun and stable, it is very nice even when you try to push to the edge of the edge. The ski is best expressed in the medium-wide curves, where it never requires too much physical effort and it always turns out to have a good entry into the curve. However, it is the innate handling that rewards him, resulting in the highest score achieved in our test, behind only the comfort of management. Immediately below in the range we find the Dynastar Speed Zone 10 Ti Konect. The skiing has reached the level and keeps the promises made. It is a tool that turns out to be extremely versatile and intuitive on any terrain, always manageable and light. Proven on loose snow it was pleasant to set up and to ski, descending into the end user you immediately understand how the ski is able to offer the best in the short arc and at non-sustained speeds, the structure is soft enough to be manageable both on compact and loose snows, making it easy to run even for beginners of modern skiing or for truly evolving skiers. Dynastar also proposes a series "all-mountain track", that is with a generous sidecut, aimed at facing any snow situation: this is the new Speedzone 4x4 line. The new Dynastar Speedzone 4x4 82 Pro Ti Black is indeed a ski valid on all terrains, from the runway in any condition up to the off-piste, it has in any case good buoyancy on loose or fresh snow, with an innate ease of absorbing the unevenness of the ground. Structurally it is a soft ski in tail and in tip with a slightly slow inversion. The Dynastar Speedzone 4x4 82 Blue is the younger brother, it is quite soft and makes the most of bumpy and soft snow, it has a good versatility between the different curve arcs and a light structure. The range keeps its 4x4 name, has a good distance and absorbs vibrations, filters the soil. In the field Freeski Dynastar proposes the iconic Legend series, presenting the Legend X96 and Legend 106. The Legend X96 Konnect, tested both on the track and off-piste, was very manageable, intuitive but stable and easy with a raised and very light tip that helps off-piste floatation. On the track he was influenced by the diptic setting of freeriding (rocker, light structure and wide spatula) and was a bit of a dancer, therefore preferring curves off the beaten tracks. The Dynastar Legend 106 Konect, tested exclusively in freeride, is a great ski, very funny, with a special spatula that in less snow makes less friction than the other skis of the same category. It is in fact an intuitive, easy, responsive and precise ski in any condition and on any snow, but also in jumps both in the air phase and in landing.
