The range Salomon 2014/2015

The Test Team of Neveitalia tried four of the top models in the range Salomon for the season 2014/2015, the proposals of the range racecarver X-Race, the new all-mountain range X-Drive and park ski NFX LAB. Here the results of our test in Pampeago!

As is now usual, the snows of Pampaeago hosted the Neveitalia testers for testing ski season 2014/2015. Also this year'' conditions in early April have been very positive, with compact snow and winter until lunch time, thus ensuring a uniform and accurate test for all models. Salomon for this year'', as will many other houses, has decided to confirm the line top range, after having innovated radically last year. The X-Race is therefore also remained the same in terms of graphics and proposes the abolition of the subdivision'' GS and SL'' to focus on a single range that goes from 160cm to 180cm with 5cm intervals, united by laminated wood structure and differing only in radius curvature and length. What emerges is a model manageable, perhaps too light for those coming from'' race environment, but with the'' enviable aspect of having a curve management much easier at low speeds. The novelty of the range, for this year'', is concentrated in'' with'' all-mountain innovative line X-Drive, which we have already a preview of the presentation world at ISPO 2014. We have tested the proposal more affordable, the'' X-Drive 8.0 and is a model that has displaced more of a testator. Too simple for most experts and corsaioli, very pleasant to the masters and women. You a ski that lets you ski in all snow conditions, from cool on the track until that ruined the 3 in the afternoon. It handles well in all areas of the park, has a good run on the track, but does not facilitate'' s entry into this world, and it is therefore devoted to advanced riders.
