Nicola Viotti

Nicola Viotti is an Alpine Guide from Alagna Valsesia and a Monte Rosa local, passionate about freeriding in all its forms (from heli-skiing to ski touring with skins). In addition to working as a guide, he is involved in securing ski slopes through the artificial triggering of avalanches and collaborates with the Piedmont Region as an observer for the publication of avalanche bulletins. He was a helicopter rescue worker and helicopter technician, a profession that enabled him to bring home a wealth of experience from the most remote corners of the earth (from the Sahara desert to studying volcanoes, from the glaciers of Iceland to equatorial forests).
