Francesco Maccagnini

Federico is a young Valtellina Alpine Guide, ski instructor and Alpine Rescue Technician.  He experiences the Mountains to the fullest, and in recent years they have also become his “office”.  During the winter, he works as a ski instructor in Bormio and works as an Alpine Guide all year round. He took part in approximately n°40 ski mountaineering competitions (Junior category) over 3 years from 2010 to 2012 – Pierra Menta 2011 and 2012. His experience includes ice climbing, ski mountaineering, first ascents, and expeditions outside Europe to India, Patagonia and Nepal, where last year I skied down Manaslu, 8163 m.
