The weekend of 21 and 22 April in the Falora Skiarea of ​​Cortina d'Ampezzo was held the classic end-of-season event organized by the Skessenter of Bressanone, with the Veneti and Altoatesini Ski Club athletes who were able to test the FIS Race skis of the 2018/2019 season.

The Blizzard, Rossignol, Head and Nordica brands were available at the village set up by the Ski Center at the Rifugio Faloria, at an altitude of 2120 meters, with more than 150 skis available for the test. The young athletes, Junior and Masters intervened have been able to rely on the advice of the men of the companies present in the field, on the professionalism of the staff of SkiCenter.
The slopes of Skiarea Faloria were well prepared and despite the date in late spring the snow conditions were good until lunchtime. The athletes present for the test could count on a favorable ski pass price and above all on a timed track set up in an optimal position to give everyone the opportunity to test as many materials as possible.
After the first hour of testing on Saturday morning there were already more than 150 athletes registered at the gazebo at the entrance to the village, also realized thanks to the collaboration with NeveItalia. Many ski clubs organized groups to take the SkiCenter ski-test. In the environment of the Veneti ski clubs, Klaus and Andrea (the owner of SkiCenter and his right-hand man) were able to earn the respect and esteem of everyone, from coaches to athletes to the parents of the boys.
In the two days of Cortina there were moments of fun and entertainment, with the concert offered Saturday afternoon at the Rifugio Faloria, the possibility for those who took part in the test to have a good discount for beer at the Sport Bar in the center of Cortina and numerous free gadgets.
Two words on the SKICENTER of Bressanone

Precisely on the occasion of the appointment to the Skiarea Faloria, Blizzard accredited SkiCenter as the only racing center in the north-east Italian, inviting its athletes to go to this center and also bringing Kristian Ghedina inside the village SkiCenter. Similar initiatives had already done in the past Rossignol, Head and Nordica, recognizing SkiCenter a key role in the contested South Tyrolean racing environment.

Numerous Italian and foreign national athletes have been entrusting ski race preparation for many years to SkiCenrter and since the bootfitting workshop was opened under Andrea's guidance with the use of cutting-edge equipment, SkiCenter is becoming a point of reference also for the preparation of the boots.
Skicenter invests every year in the most advanced machinery in the sector. After the new 3D scanner for foot measurement and the equipment for the choice of custom-made orthotics, this year a unique numerical control machine for the milling of the sole of the boot has been introduced. Precision work is increasingly appreciated by the demands of national teams, athletes of all categories and ski clubs.
