Conte says no to skiing and holidays on the snow and aims to convince European partners

«December 8 remains the designated start for the ski season. Everything is possible". The Regions believe in it, the ski resorts are already snowing in some cases, we are working to find an agreement on the safety protocol. Numbers of the contagion allowing the governors would count on being able to save winter tourism and the billions of euros of related activities, by reopening ski slopes and ski lifts. To do this, however, first we have to convince CTS and above all the Roman government.

Yes, because tonight the rumors that appeared in the newspaper "La Repubblica" report the intentions of the government, which would include "No Christmas holidays or skiing holidays. The ski slopes will remain closed". On New Year's Eve no balls, tables, bingo. "We cannot allow the end of the year to become like Ferragosto" says, in no uncertain terms, a minister of the Conte government. And Palazzo Chigi confirms: "We are studying an initiative at a European level to prevent ski holidays". To anticipate and counter the third wave, therefore, Italy chooses the hard line for this end of 2020.
