Throughout Italy the winter season ends today.

It's official. From tomorrow, Tuesday 10 March, all Italian ski resorts will close the ski lifts to counter the coronavirus emergency.
Even the ski areas, which in the last hours had communicated the closure from 11 March, will have to anticipate it by one day.
The news was communicated by the Minister for Regional Affairs and Autonomies, Francesco Boccia, during a press conference at the headquarters of the Civil Protection of Rome: “The common sense that we have often asked for, not only did not exist, but in some cases there was also a shameful marketing operation to say the least. We refer to the solicitation to some students, free from school commitments, to go to the mountains. It is inadmissible. Since in some areas the message has not passed, we have decided unanimously with the Regions and the Government to close all the ski resorts in the country. "
