Last week, the new plastic trail was officially inaugurated in Kopaonik, Serbia.

The new ski resort, created in collaboration with the Italian company Neveplast, leader in the production of plastic material for ski slopes, retraces the entire track of the 3A runway used in the winter months.
The track which has a total length of about 900m is currently one of the longest in Europe and is the only one of its kind to be located in the Balkan area.
"This new facility will allow ski enthusiasts and our athletes to practice skiing 365 days a year - said Dejan Ćika, director of the consortium that manages the Serbian ski facilities during the inauguration ceremony - the plastic material used for the construction of the track also guarantees the same sensations that a skier feels when skiing in the snow. "
The Kopaonik ski center is therefore enriched by an important innovation that aims to re-launch in a summer key what is in fact the largest ski area in Serbia. The resort located on the border with Kosovo is in fact equipped with about 62km of cross-country ski trails and alpine skiing, and thanks to recent investments has slowly modernized the ski lifts becoming the center of reference for winter activities in the southern area of the Balkan peninsula.
