"Iceland from the Sky" is the documentary that tells the extraordinary trip on the road made last summer in Iceland by the Friulian video-maker Mike Tessari.

Tessari established in the industry and above all a great travel enthusiast, he decided to tell Iceland from an unusual perspective, using only images shot with the drone. A particular point of view that has allowed to further enhance the breathtaking scenery of this land, where the absolute protagonist is nature.
Geysers, spectacular waterfalls, natural parks, volcanic craters, canyons, deserted beaches, glaciers, icebergs, fjords and the legendary Blue Lagoon are some of the protagonists of "Iceland from the Sky".
An extraordinary journey born a bit 'by chance as he explains the same Tessari, "From the photographic point of view, which is my work / passion, I have always had a strong attraction for mountainous and wild places especially in Friuli but even in the world, including Iceland, I usually travel alone, but Iceland is a very expensive country and we needed a group to try to divide the costs of hotels, food and car hire. this destination served people willing to live a journey and not a holiday, with a strong spirit of adaptation and above all with a great desire to seek the best views to film. "
So Mike one day sees an ad on a Facebook page that contains more than 19 thousand professionals in the video industry and discovers that there are other 5 guys willing to take on a similar adventure, "We initially met only in a virtual way - says Tessari - not we had never seen each other before but we immediately understood that we had the right spirit to share this experience on the edge of the world, so our first meeting took place directly in Iceland. "
A sort of adventure in the adventure that allowed the Friulian video-maker and his colleagues to travel about 2,500 kilometers along the southern coast of the island, "We had many destinations to see, despite the short time available, but for Fortunately, the conditions were on our side: in fact we had the sun from 3 am to 23. Every day we used the whole day looking for the best places and best photos and we could only reach the hotel at 11 pm, having dinner for midnight . "
