farm Hof Zerund Castelrotto, for example, the heating system operates with wood chips that would otherwise be wasted. The structure dates back to 1502 and from its ancient walls, the atmosphere of other times, all in the frame of a place as beautiful Castelrotto, near the Dolomites, ideal base to reach the gondola of the Dolomites -Seiser Alm and not far from the well-known Val Gardena and Sella Ronda. Also nearby are numerous cross-country trails for both beginners and experts, and the landlord organizes day trips to explore the surroundings. To complete the picture we add some toboggan runs, such as Bullaccia and Zallinger.

Unterschweig farm, in the Val d'Ultimo, is located at 1700 meters above sea level and looks directly onto the snow-capped peaks. The property was built in the traditional manner and with solid wood shingle roof. The farm uses a photovoltaic system to produce most of the energy needed for its operation and contains within it a real dairy farm, where managers prepare mountain cheese, cheese with herbs, pepper cheese, cheese springs, butter and yogurt.
Guests are offered the opportunity to take part in the life of the farm, taking care of the animals that inhabit it, as well as to try the handmade products created according to tradition: milk, cheese, eggs, bacon and more .

A few steps from here you can practice all kinds of activities: skiing in the nearby ski area "Schwemmalm", cross-country skiing, ice skating in the valley or tobogganing, hiking shoe snow or ski at all levels: some little challenging routes that start directly from the farm, the tour of huts or climb to 3000 meters. Even in the farm

Rameishof in Malles, the electric current is produced by a photovoltaic system: the water is heated with the help of solar collectors and the remaining energy comes from the heating to a pallet. The clean energy supplies in the sauna or steam bath, which provide guests with moments of comfort and relaxation. The farm is situated in a prime location on a sunny plateau at 1740 meters altitude and with a magnificent view Vinschgau, which is perfect for capturing the sun's rays and produce energy. Unspoiled paradise for those who want to reconcile with the silence of nature, the farm has a production of local products such as milk, different types of yogurt, eggs, jam, bacon, butter and cheese from pasture.
The property is located just 200 meters away from the ski area and hiking Watles and just 3 km from the center cross-country skiing Schlinigpass.

Casies Valley is also another jewel for eco-holidays in the mountains, summer and winter, the farm Mudlerhof where respect for the environment is ensured by a biogas plant that reduces emissions of carbon carbon and use the waste material from the farm to produce energy. The farm short "feeds on itself" and is a perfect example of clean energy production.
To live life to 360 degrees on the farm, you can go with the managers to milk the cows, to feed the animals and take a ride on the tractor. You can also see how to make butter, cheese and bread. A curious peculiarity is that each apartment is assigned a hen whose egg per day is the property of guests occupying it. Even the water is pure and spring, and also powers the Kneipp (regenerating a particular treatment based on exposure to water vapor at different temperatures). Nearby are also a toboggan run, skiing along a ring 42 kilometers and several ski areas within the ski shuttle bus that will shuttle back and forth.
