The organizing committee of the World Cup slalom in Levi'' this year will award its winners, as well as cash prizes and flowers, with something extraordinary: an'' authentic and reindeer in Lapland as a reward!

The winners will give a name to their reindeer, after which will follow the movements and adventures of their reindeer in Lapland during the winter'' through photos and with social media and will also have the opportunity'' to greet their reindeer in the days of the races of Levi.
The prize is provided by Johanna Hietanen from'' reindeer herding of Ounaskievari. These wonderful animals, who will be selected in the next weekend, they are young reindeer last spring. Hietanen is excited about the collaboration.
"'' We look forward to creating a new family of reindeer for Levi - he says -. There will not be new in the first year but in the future the family of Levi reindeer will certainly have new members. We hope that this is a beginning of a long and lasting partnership. reindeer in itself is an important part of Lapland and of its visibility.
