From the information that comes to us from the meteorologists of 3BMeteo, the disturbance could in these days continue to affect the Center-South in particular. We should see the formation of a low pressure vortex during the week which, fed by colder air from north-eastern Europe, will favor the return of some snowfalls in the central-eastern Alps even below 2000m and flakes arriving as far as stretches of the '' Apennines.
On Wednesday, the first snowfalls could arrive in the central-eastern Alps from 1900 / 2000m, sometimes even up to 1500 / 1800m between Rhaetian and Alto Adige. Temperatures generally decrease throughout Italy.
On Thursday, snowfalls are expected on the hills of Romagna as early as 1600m. Variability in the central-northern Tyrrhenian regions with some more frequent rains in Tuscany. Unstable on the central Adriatic regions and on Molise and upper Puglia with persistent rains and showers between Marche and Abruzzo and snow on the Apennine ridge down to 2000m. Temperatures further decreasing, especially in the South.

NOAA: torna El Niño, come potrebbe influenzare l'inverno 2026-2027 sulle Alpi?
La NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) ha pubblicato il 9 luglio il nuovo aggiornamento sul fenomeno climatico ENSO (El Niño-Southern Oscillation), confermando che El Niño è ormai in pieno sviluppo e che continuerà a rafforzarsi nei prossimi mesi. Secondo i climatologi statunitensi, il fenomeno dovrebbe raggiungere il proprio massimo proprio durante l'inverno boreale 2026-2027, con una probabilità del 97% di persistere fino alla primavera 2027 e con possibilità sempre più elevate di raggiungere un'intensità tra le più elevate osservate dal 1950.
