Given the increase in infections in South Tyrol and the new decree that is about to come into force, the President of the Province of Bolzano, Arno Kompatscher, has signed the new ordinance that provides for the lockdown in South Tyrol.

Bars, restaurants, pastry shops will be closed and will be able to work with take-away until 8 pm and home service until 10 pm. Shops will also be closed, while pharmacies, newsstands and shops selling basic necessities will remain open. The hotels will be closed for tourists, but may be used for overnight stays due to business reasons. High schools that will carry out distance learning have been closed. A curfew will start from 8pm to 5am. Gyms, fitness centers, swimming pools and spas will also remain closed.
For these areas, the lockdown will begin on Wednesday 4 November and will end on Sunday 22 November.
Already on October 31, Arno Kompastescher had signed the ordinance which provided for the closure for 14 days of the following cluster municipalities: Laives, Malles, Sarentino, Campo di Trens, Racines, Sluderno, Glorenza, Tubre, Gargazzone, Val di Vizze and Rasun-Anterselva
Today, November 3, the President of the Province of Bolzano has identified other municipalities as a "red zone" and with a very high risk of contagion. These are: Bolzano, Vadena, Braies, Velturno, Villabassa, Meltina, Vipiteno, Egna, Nova Levante, Ponte Gardena and Nalles. In these locations the lockdown will begin on Thursday 5 November and will last two weeks with more restrictive measures: in addition to those listed above, the closure of nursery schools, nursery schools and all schools that will be able to carry out distance learning. Personal services are also closed and it will be possible to enter and leave the territories only for reasons of work, health and emergencies.
In Val Senales and Solda, at the moment, you continue to ski with the lifts that travel with 50% of the capacity allowed as for public transport.
