The Bella Vista Hotel in Trafoi inaugurates the Stelvio summer season with two unique initiatives: “Skiing with Gustav Thoeni & cycling with Francesco Moser”.
These are experiences dedicated to ski and nature enthusiasts, in one of the largest ski areas in the Alps where it is possible to practice summer skiing and along the road of one of the most popular passes - which will reopen to traffic tomorrow, Friday 20 May. . Exceptional companions: an absolute champion like Gustav Thoeni, head of the family of the Hotel Bella Vista, the Family Hotel in Trafoi today managed by his daughter Petra which offers a holiday to discover authentic nature, between leisure and relaxation
There is also the possibility of living a day together with a cycling legend like Francesco Moser, "The Sheriff".
The Bella Vista will open to the public on Saturday 28 May and will inaugurate the summer season with two unique initiatives of its kind, staying in a Belle Époque-style alpine structure, historically managed by the Thoeni family and constantly developed and renewed over time; today a combination of tradition and modernity, it wisely combines typical materials such as natural wood and stone that give every room elegance, brightness and warm hospitality. The Bella Vista Hotel in Trafoi is a reference point for mountain and nature lovers, where families in particular find tailor-made services to spend a relaxing and fun stay with the youngest travelers.
In the heart of the Stelvio Natural Park, it is the ideal hotel for those who love outdoor activities: from the simplest excursions to trekking, from cycling to summer skiing. From May 28th to June 12th, here is the opportunity to ski on the Stelvio glacier with an exceptional guide like Gustav Thoeni, who will get on his e-bike to face, together with Moser and all the people he wants, the legendary 48 tornandi of a symbolic climb of world cycling.
In fact, there are two packages that the Bella Vista offers in view of the summer reopening, to experience a late spring holiday dedicated to sport and leisure immersed in the South Tyrolean nature. The program includes two dates to try the skiing experience with Thoeni: Monday 30 May and Wednesday 1 June departure at dawn to reach the Stelvio glacier, where from 2,760 to 3,450 meters snow reigns supreme throughout the 'year.
On Thursday 2 June, on the other hand, the Bike Tour to the Stelvio Pass is scheduled with Francesco Moser and Gustav Thoeni: departure from the Hotel Bella Vista for an exciting climb with the two pillars of national and world sport of the 70s and ' '80. Together also to present the books "How a little boy from Trentino went to conquer Italy and the world" by Francesco Moser and "Olympics, World Cups, 4 World Cups. The Triumphs of Man and Myth by Gustav Thoeni.
For the second week, from 5 to 12 June, three dates to ski with "King Gustav", namely Monday 6, Wednesday 8 and Friday 10 June, remembering that there may be variations based on weather conditions.
