From the winter season 2018/2019 the ski areas Malga San Valentino and Belpiano will be connected by two 10-seater gondola lifts. The first plant, the GD10 St. Valentino - Schnöneben cable car, will start from San Valentino alla Muta and will reach the Belpiano ski area. From here the second system will start, the "GD10 Höllental" gondola lift, which will lead to the highest point of the Jochban ski slope at an altitude of 2390 meters.

Both gondolas were built by Leitner Ropways. The first gondola lift will have an hourly capacity of 1600 people, while the second of 2400.
During the journey you can admire the beauty of Lake Resia, the largest lake in South Tyrol.
The new connection between the two areas will be inaugurated on December 14th, the opening day of the winter season. With only one skipass, the "Skiarena due Paesi", it will also be possible to access 211 km of slopes and five districts between Italy and Austria.
