After 33 years, a new modern 10-seater gondola lift will replace the old lift in the Snow Space Salzburg ski area.

In February, work began on the construction of the new Flying Mozart cable car, which leads from Wagrain - Kirchboden to the Grießenkareck. It is an ultra-modern single-cable gondola with 10-person cabins, all with heated seats.
One of the novelties is the new intermediate underground station which will allow access at the same level to the G-Link cable car, a lift that connects the Grießenkar with the Grafenberg.
The top station has been moved slightly by 50 meters and is located opposite the top station of the Starjet 3 8-seater chairlift. up to 4,000 people per hour, reducing waiting times in the valley and intermediate stations.
All the old 95 booths were quickly sold to fans via the ETM company. In these 33 years, the Flying Mozart cable car has transported 33.7 million winter sports enthusiasts and hikers.
The new plant will be built by the Doppelmayr company.
