Cristian Deville: "I could play me a cup of specialty

This year was a super season for you: three podiums and a victory. What has changed in Cristian compared to other years?

good question. Nothing has changed, the work done in recent seasons has finally brought the desired results. I lost two years due to injury, last year I returned to my level, I found the consistency. Not only. Any athlete who maybe was stronger than in previous years, has had a fall and then I also had more opportunities to get ahead.

Besides the win, which of the three podiums remember with more pleasure?

satisfaction were all very nice I also like to revive in the coming seasons. The first podium, to Beaver Creek, was very unexpected, I was surprised I could not enjoy it. The most important thing I think was the second podium in third place in Flachau, because it was the confirmation of the podium already in America: I have enjoyed everything so much more, perhaps because there was a lot more people in Austria and then you hear in the heat of the people.

You and Stephen Gross you were the two top athletes in the slalom the blue team. What is the relationship between you two?

We have an excellent relationship. We're friends, we share the same ski man and the same materials. Stephen has done an incredible season.
